Bloomberg’s flagship West Coast Tech Hub is both a workplace for its software engineers and an event space to foster the connection with Silicon Valley. Located in the historical landmark “Pacific Bell” building in San Francisco’s SOMA District, it sits on the Embarcadero with stunning views of the waterfront.

The design intent of the floors that Bloomberg occupies combines new elements against the raw materials of the building shell. This approach contrasts the existing rough material palette of the exposed concrete and brick interior with a more refined combination of oak flooring and millwork, glass, steel and felt cladding. The wide open workspaces are combined with collaborative areas and quiet spaces with soft seating & glass walls to provide natural light and to take full advantage of the magnificent view from the upper floors.
